Circulation

Blood circulation describes the process of blood being pumped via arteries from the heart out to all parts of the body and then returned via veins to the lungs and back to the heart.

People generally experience a deterioration in circulation as they age and either disease or injury can result in blockages or narrowing of the blood vessels. Sometimes surgery is required to correct or clear arteries in the body.
